Al Smith is a Senior Advisor to Susquehanna's Portfolio Value Creation team. In this role, Al helps the growth of Susquehanna Growth Equity’s high-velocity portfolio companies.
Al has led Product and Engineering programs for multiple technology companies. Most recently, Al served as Chief Technology Officer for iCIMS, where he was responsible for Product, Engineering, Architecture, AI, and Cloud Hosting programs. While he was there, iCIMS experienced ARR growth from $25M to $400M+ and an expansion of the product portfolio from three to eighteen products.
Prior to iCIMS, Smith held various cross-functional executive and leadership roles at Revitas, IBM, Princeton Softech, Hewlett Packard, Bluestone Software, Astea, and GE. During his career, he has participated in more than twenty mergers and acquisitions.
Smith was recognized by NJ Tech Council as CIO/CTO of the Year 2018. He was also honored as one of the top 100 HR tech influencers from 2019 -2023 by HR Executive and the HR Technology Conference.
