Bob is a Senior Advisor to Susquehanna Portfolio Value Creation, In this role, Bob helps Susquehanna operating and investing teams identify new investment opportunities and supports organizations to improve their profitability and top line growth leveraging his deep supply chain/management expertise, negotiations expertise, and broad understanding of commercial dynamics.
Bob supports the Susquehanna team with his 30 years of global, cross industry supply management / procurement expertise. Prior to supporting Susquehanna he worked for BCG for 16+ years supporting clients improve their procurement and supply chain performance, as well as their sales approach to their customers. During this time, he led BCG’s global procurement business for over a decade and was a member of the Firm’s global operations practice leadership team. Before BCG, he spend 11+ years at Kearney supporting clients improve their profitability by improving the performance of their supply management/procurement functions. He has deep expertise across a number of industries with particular depth in aerospace and defense, telecommunications, healthcare, consumer products/retail and financial institutions. His work typically entails procurement organization design and enablement, strategic sourcing and related negotiations support/training, supplier management including supply chain risk, and overall cost reduction including demand management. Prior to working at Kearney, he spent 7 years in the chemical/pharmaceutical industry in various supply management/procurement roles and spend a year in B to B sales. He has dedicated his career to the procurement function and has written articles on many issues including topical ones such as how to manage procurement in a world of inflation, how to measure the value procurement provides, and supply chain risk management.
