Robert Bergan is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Muck Rack, the software platform that enables thousands of organizations including Google, Golin and Duolingo to find the right journalists to pitch, report on media coverage and prove the value of their work. In this role, Robert oversees the finance, legal, analytics and operations teams, and sets strategy for cross-organization planning and resourcing to drive data-driven efficiency and manage risk.
Before joining Muck Rack as CFO in 2019, Robert was CFO of Mediabistro Holdings LLC, which included Adweek, The Clio Awards, Film Expo Group and Mediabistro. He also served as equity research analyst at Arch Capital Management, and spent time at Censeo Consulting Group and JP Morgan.
Robert holds a Masters of Business Administration from Columbia Business School, a Masters of Information and Data Science from University of California, Berkeley and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Political Science from Williams College. He lives in New Hampshire with his wife and four children
