Matthew is the Chief Financial Officer at Point of Rental Software which provides award-winning rental software and world-class support to more than 5000 businesses worldwide. His career began at Point of Rental in 2021 where he was tasked with bringing financial discipline, reporting, and strategic insights into a fast-growing business. He is responsible for lender relations, PE reporting, internal reporting and planning, mergers and acquisitions, and the accounting and audit processes.
Prior to Point of Rental, Matthew was the Vice President of Finance at Camping and Hunting and Fish software provider, where he was responsible for the Finance, Tax, and Accounting teams. He led a successful exit in 2021. Prior to that, he worked at Active Network LLC, a Vista Private Equity-owned firm, where he started his career in Treasury before being moved to a finance manager of the communities segment. He led the market-based financial diligence for a successful exit in 2017. Matthew started his career at Lockheed Martin out of Fort Worth, Texas, where he completed the Financial Leadership Development Program and worked on the F-22 and F-35 fighter programs.
Matthew graduated with an M.B.A. from the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University with a concentration in Global Strategy. He received his BBA from Texas Christian University, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
