Martin Angert is a Venture Partner with Susquehanna Growth Equity where he works with portfolio companies on special strategic projects.
Prior to becoming a venture partner, he was an investor at SGE for 10 years and focused on infrastructure and application software. His investments at SGE include Active Campaign, Avalara, HackerRank, Pixieset, Qualtrics, Allocadia (Brandmaker), Workfront (Adobe), and XebiaLabs (CollabNet Version). He was previously a Principal at Insight Venture Partners, where he spent nine years leading investments in software and internet companies spanning multiple industries. Prior to that, he was a software developer in J.P. Morgan’s Application Delivery division.
Martin received dual degrees from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and its School of Engineering, graduating summa cum laude in Finance and Computer Science.
Martin was born in a former Soviet republic called Moldova and is fluent in Russian. In addition to playing every competitive sport under the sun (not always well), Martin loves to spend time in the great outdoors with his wife, three children, and corgi.
